These terms are the agreement between you and Solovo LLC (“we”, “us”, “Solovo”) for using the Jhoom app. By creating a profile you accept them.
These terms do not limit or exclude any right you have under applicable consumer protection law, including your right to approach a consumer forum in your own jurisdiction regardless of anything stated below about dispute resolution.
You must be 18 or older. When you create an account you confirm your age, and we apply reasonable, ongoing measures to identify and remove underage accounts. Accounts belonging to minors are removed as soon as we learn of them, and any agreement formed with a minor is void from the start.
The app creates an account for you and shows you a login and password — keep them, they are the only way back to your profile and your coins on another phone. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
Consequences. Breaking these rules may lead to your profile being hidden, content being removed, or your account being suspended or closed. Where the breach is minor and not repeated, we will generally warn or suspend before closing an account; for fraud, impersonation, content involving minors, or safety threats, we may close an account immediately without prior warning. Coins and VIP time forfeited as a result of a closure for cause are not refunded; see Section 7 for other refund situations.
We review these rules and remind users of them at least once a year, including what happens if you don’t follow them.
Every profile and every conversation has a report and a block option, in the “⋯” menu on the profile photo and in the chat.
If you are not satisfied with how a report was handled, contact our Grievance Officer (Section 10).
Photos are checked automatically when uploaded (including by automated image-review tools) and may be reviewed by a person afterwards. A rejected photo stops being shown, and while a rejected photo is the one on your profile you cannot send likes.
By uploading a photo or writing a message, you grant Solovo a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, store, reproduce and display that content within the app — to the people you match or chat with, and to our moderation and safety tooling — for as long as your account or that content exists. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where content has already been shared with another user (see Privacy Policy, “How long we keep it”) or must be retained for a safety report.
Some profiles in Jhoom are operated by the service rather than by an individual person, and their replies may be generated automatically. They exist so that a new user is not alone in an empty app. They never ask you for money, and never ask for your payment details or identity documents.
Our refund policy. In addition to whatever Google Play offers: if VIP or coins you purchased were not delivered, were charged in error, or the related feature failed to work as described, contact us within 7 days of the purchase and we will review it and, where appropriate, arrange a refund or credit through Google Play’s refund tools. Refunds for change of mind are not guaranteed but may be considered case by case.
We do not guarantee that you will meet anyone, that the service will always be available, or that every profile you see behaves well — which is why reporting and blocking exist and are taken seriously.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, our liability to you for issues arising from your use of the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the issue arose. We do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability arising from our own fraud or from a wilful failure to meet the obligations set out in these terms and in applicable Indian consumer protection law.
You can delete your account at any time in Profile → Privacy & safety or from this page. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, following the approach described in Section 3.
We acknowledge grievances within 24 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 days; reports about nudity or sexually explicit content are acted on within 24 hours as described in Section 4. If you remain unsatisfied, you may escalate to the relevant consumer forum or authority in your jurisdiction — nothing in these terms takes that right away from you.
We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top will change, and we’ll flag material changes in the app. Continuing to use Jhoom after a material change takes effect means you accept the updated terms; if you don’t agree, you can delete your account as described in Section 9.
These terms are governed by the laws of Armenia. Any dispute will first be addressed through the grievance process in Section 10. This clause does not limit your right, where applicable law grants it, to bring a claim before a consumer forum or other competent authority in the place where you reside.
